In a nutshell

Full dome projection media for one of the largest ever build dome tents. Mainly used for the central ceremony of the 350-years jubilee event of Merck.

Set up

M-Sphere – one of the world’s largest mobile dome tents

In one of the largest temporary dome projections in the world with a diameter of 50m and a projection area of 2,800 m², guests were taken on an immersive journey through history, the present and the future. With a 6K dome master and 22 projectors, worlds were created, and the architecture of the dome was suspended to allow the audience to immerse themselves in the “Merckian” cosmos.

Well-known speakers gave voice to historical characters and verbalized visions of the future.

Overture

The 70-piece orchestra was accompanied by an animation created in consultation with the composer Ben Palmer, thus forming the overture to the ceremony.

Further musical compositions by Michael Kadelbach brought the history of Merck back to life and emotionalized a journey through the 350 years.

Media & Design

The immersive animations designed for this event illustrated the entire history, a journey through 350 years of the world and company history. In addition to the 9-minute main film, the ceremony was rounded off with speech support and a full dome film production.
