Lego PlayZone 2023

Playing and having fun together with the family makes children strong and gives them real superpowers: during the fall vacations from October 7 to 12, teamwork, creativity and imagination are free at the big play event “LEGO® PlayZone” at the Zeche Zollverein in Essen.

In five physical and digital play areas, children can activate their individual strengths in the areas of curiosity, creativity, logic, imagination and teamwork. Including: exciting treasure hunts with LEGO City, disco moves with LEGO Friends and tricky skill courses with LEGO Ninjago. There will be super-fast car races with LEGO Technic and the dream world trampoline with LEGO DREAMZzz™ awaits participants at the biggest LEGO event of the year.

Faber Creative Services was responsible for the design, media production and technological implementation. The game stations were realized with different technological approaches, ranging from light sensors and wireless cameras to real-time applications of game engines.
